Ok, this is not an airgun but it shoots pellets in the air and other things.

I bought this Slingshot several years ago and it is extremely accurate and totally fun to shoot. I put the laser and light on only because I could, not that they will ever be used.

The mallards just dropped in so I had my wife take a snap shot. No, it's not duck season and I did not fire. :)

I have Stainless shot and plastic balls to sling off. All fun. And yes, I'm big and fat. :)

just curious, looks like a pellet gun magazine on the table.. is that fancy sling shot magazine fed?? oh and well I had a slingshot when I was a kid and it looked nothing like that.. does it have a full auto selector switch on it.. 😂😂 no worries it's all fun, but as a kid I wouldn't have needed the light or Lazer.. just listen for the wrong sound and well I guess that's a window, not what I was trying to get..

Wrist rockets are quite fun. Guns were verboten growing up. Archery, wrist rockets and blowguns were erlaubt. I have this one and have found .38 lead balls work the best. Very fast shooter with the hunting bands.

I took off the DFL suppressor, wasn't sure if they were legal on wrist rockets.

Speaking of marbles;
As boys at 13 years old, and I don't know how I got the idea??, my bud and I would put marbles in a cookie tray and into the oven for about a half hour, then would dump them in water. Most marbles would fracture with cracks but not be broken.
Then we'd take these out hunting lizards that sunned on rocks with our wrist rockets. All we had to do was hit close to the prey and the marbles would shatter into a million shards and destroy them.

Boys - why did we like to do this kind stuff?? Who knows but its in our nature.

Is that slingshot more gimmicky than it is effective with the use of those springs, do they actually increase velocity?

Where'd you buy it?

The springs do make a little difference. Those Chinese spring/metal slingshots come under many brand names on Ebay/Amazon. If they aren't the fastest slingshots available, they're definitely up there.

They'll shoot straight through a watermelon or 2-3 full gallon jugs of water. A head shot with the right ammo could be lethal.

That said, a shepherd's sling (David's sling) is still much more powerful. It does take a lot more practice though.
