planned to go to a permission today to test a new gun,
check the weather aaaaaaand.......
rain,and 13-24mph wind with gusts to 34.

the wind has been crazy for the last month or so around here. (im in sw PA)

on a lighter note,
ive improved my shooting in the wind skills lol

It's been crazy windy out here in the Midwest all Winter, really tired of it! And Winter too!

I went out kayak fishing yesterday, I lasted 90 minutes before the wind gusts got into the 30's. It's worse today.

I'm retired, still can't find any low, much less no wind days. Pretty much been that way for several years. Just gotta get to know those wind flags.

Really bad wind plus all the rain= lot of down Trees, we are soaked here.
I just shorten my shooting distance.

The old axiom for March is " In like a lion, out like a lamb" but here in central PA I always expect wind to last into the first week or two of April and then the lamb takes over. I used to start seedlings outdoors as early as possible but the wind would play havoc with them. Cool weather crops so the cold didn't matter.
Really messes with early season fishing as well. Hard to cast.

Yep, i wouldn't even look out the window today because i know the trees in the yard are full of starlings and the way it's blowing there ain;t a thing i can do about it.

Can't remember it being this windy before the last couple years. 20-30 mph constant wind is getting old. Should have all the pollen pushed 3 states away by now but man does it make it hard to do anything outside.

Early in April a foot snow melted in two days and the temp jumped up aggressively to 30C for couple days, it was like in June or July. That was very suspicious something bad is coming down on a pipe. Within a week all went back to 3-5 C and and now some big rainy winds circling above my head for couple weeks already.
I was at my gunclub last week, the wind was pulsing and running around the range in random, not a big flow but enough to mess you up. The grass still didn't grow enough to read it.
