Summer is here and June didn't fail to let us know it. Low 90's were appreciated, but low wind and humidity made for a warm morning. There were 23 shooters this morning shooting a 60-shot course. As usual it was a fantastic group of shooters and we were happy to see them coming from as far as Dallas as well as the Tulsa area. And, after driving so far, they didn't even seem to mind winning top spots in PCP and Springer

Excellent match and simply amazing venue where you could pull out a 300Win Mag and go loong

Another fine match by the OKC (Arcadia) club. They consistently pull over 20 shooters to the matches. Spring gun class is growing every month so don't think you have to have a PCP to shoot.

There was talk of having a grilling session at the next match so bring your hungry too.

plenty of ample parking and separate indoor facilities for both men and women. 

It was a bit warm by some standards (not Oklahoma) but only a few shooting positions are directly in the sun. 90% of them are shaded. 
If I understood correctly, the start time next will begin an hour earlier in July to help beat the heat. 

There was a slight breeze, welcomed at times, but I didn't hear of any serious hold offs being made. 

Insect repellent, particularly for ticks is a must. Both myself and Tony found the little pests before they had a chance to latch on to us even though we had used repellent.

If you have an interest in shooting at one of the nicest FT clubs around, look no further.

Thank you Dave! OKC is lucky to have such good partners as the Tulsa and Dallas area bring. Good advise for our shooters too! Earlier start times will be happening, I did hear talk of an 8:30 (30min earlier) start time, but an hour might not be such a bad suggestion for July and August.
