Results OKC Gun Club Monthly Field Target Results 9/19/20

Well shooters, we had a great day for our match. Eighteen brave souls showed up to do battle with the, "I know I hit it, but it did not go down targets." Well , some did manage to go down.

We started out with 13 lanes, 2 targets per lane, one target did fail so we wound up with a total score of 50 points. Three shooters came in with a great score of 48.

I will let the score sheet tell all details.

WE hope everyone had a good time and will be looking forward to our next match October 17th.

Bob, Nice report and great photos. Nice to see some are getting out to enjoy airguns.

I especially liked the orange driveway snow markers. Remember them well from growing up in Ohio. LOL

I think I can speak for myself, Rick and Mark. We has a blast!!! The course was great because it gave the newer shooters a chance to whack KZ’s with success while the more experienced shooters could not afford to miss. When you look at the scoreboard and you have a three way tie for first??? No run-away shooters here!!

The shooter turnout was excellent with 17(!!) and there were at least a half a dozen who couldn’t make it that are regulars. 
weather was excellent. You couldn’t ask for a better day. Started out 65 sunny and only the slightest of a noticeable breeze every so often. 
And a really nice touch was the unexpected awards. I thought these were cool bookmarks. I’m just going to have to figure out how to use it on my Kindle...

Yes an all around good day for the OKCGC Field Target match. We are lucky to have a few new faces show up at our monthly matches to either shoot of see what this Field Target stuff is all about. Interest is growing for sure here in Oklahoma for FT shooting and airguns in general. There is even some talk about a Red River rivalry match in our future between Oklahoma and our Texas friends down south. We just have not figured out how many targets we will need to spot them before they will come up north to take us on....
