Results OKCGC FUN DAY!!

On Saturday June 15th, OKLAHOMA City Gun Club put on a “Get To Know Day”. So we put out a handful of the targets we shoot (disciplines). We wanted to let our AirHeads to shoot at ones they may normally not. Thom Davies said it best ”I kinda felt like I was at Disney World for airguns. Try all the rides and then go back and do em again”. Our own Joe Underwood came up with an idea and we just tweaked his idea a little! We shot at the Field Targets, XFT, N50 and 1/10th scale Silhouettes! The new Targets we just finished are the Silhouettes. These are a little difficult to say the least. You do this standing: chickens @ 20, Pigs @ 30, turkeys @ 36 and the rams @ 45 yards! Next in order were four N50 targets. Then the XFT and then last in order were the Field Targets! It sure worked out really well. They had a blast and a lot of fellowship. I think we had between 18-20 shooters show up!!!

It was a ton of fun! Loved the silhouette targets. They helped me work on stance and posture for shooting offhand for HFT. Harder than it looked. The rams at 45 are a challenge!
I’m up for doing this again!

This is super cool I’m sad I missed this as I just got into the sport. Looking for some help and advice with a recent purchase I made. I’m from okc and was wondering if there are any shops or anyone that’s fluent in working on hatsan’s. Delete if not allowed.

OKC has a solid group of air gunners that shoot on a regular basis in a variety of disciplines whereas this fun shoot was a sampler’s platter of what they do.
This coming Saturday June 22nd starting at 9am, everyone (about 20 shooters) will get together at the archery range and shoot AAFTA style field target. Other weekends they have something for just about everyone with any kind of air gun. A lot of knowledge will be there and I’ll bet someone will be able to answer your questions about you gun.
And a bit of shameless self promotion, we in Tulsa shoot the second Saturday of every month at the Tulsa Gun Club.
Come on out and and enjoy the camaraderie!

Oh I did the full auto shoot at the Tulsa gun club a few years ago and the facilities are nice!!! Thank you so much for your response I’ll definitely look into it!

The Tulsa Gang are a great bunch of folks. They come down to OKC to shoot and have fun with us. We appreciate them very much! They do a lot, not only for us but for the Airgun community as well! Thank you guys!! We always look forward to having you join us!!!!
