We are having our OKCGC Field Target Match on July 16th. It will take place at the Archery Range. We think it would be a good idea to start the match at 8:00 AM with signup and practice from 7:00 - 7:45. It's summer and HOT here in Oklahoma!!! What we have come up with is a little different way to solve for the ones that would want a short match. We will have a 40/60 round match. The ones that want to shoot a 40 can do that and then be finished. Pearl and I will designate which lanes will be for the 40. Then the 60 rounders can keep shooting for a 60 round match!
OH we will have WATERMELON for you guys and gals. My mouth is watering already, hmmmm good!! Yes there will be plenty of water there as well!!
As a reminder for our XFT Xtreme Field Target match on the following Saturday July 23rd. That will take place at the Silhouette Range. It will be a 44 round match and shot out to 100 yards. We will set out 11 targets to be shot at 4 times each. That match will also start at 8:0AM. We will be able to shoot at some steel silhouette animals before and after the match. They are air resettable so we can shoot and reset pretty quickly. There will be water and watermelon there as well!
