Old BSA Lightning

I acquired this gun about 15 years ago from my nephew when he lost interest in rebuilding it. It got misplaced in a storage tote and went missing until recently. The stock is in bad shape, but the gun appears to be in decent shape otherwise. I am interested in finding out when it was produced and who is currently working on them.
