Old crosman powermaster

Does anyone know what this tiny piece is and where it goes? I have a schematic but can't seem to find it...maybe the pin for the hammer? I have a 1st or 2nd variant powermaster 760. Thanks in advance.

That goes in the left side of the barrel behind the breech. It's perpendicular to the bore. If you look there you'll see the spot for it. There should be a spring that goes behind it into the left-side receiver. It keeps more than one BB being carried forward by the bolt (I think). It's part #760-018
