They look timeless. The Webley's checkering is stunning. The Theoben looks like a new rifle.
Yes both very nice the webley Axsor is designed and built by the bloke who started fx , webley made the stocks and branded them . Later they became the fx2000 . The rapid which is my friends is just superb in every respect .

Nice Guns and Great shooting šŸ¤˜

I just got into the Airgun hobby not long ago. Recently I went to a airgun show here in Ohio. I was surprised how nice the older stuff was.Like the FX, Falcons, Webley, etc. Just pick them up and feel the quality. All nicely finished metal with real nice wood. Beauty in the simplicity and comfort.
I definitely need to add one to the collect.

Iā€™m still kicking myself for not grabbing the Falcon Prairie.

Exactly, a lot of guys donā€™t understand the difference in quality and craftsmanship of a 20-30 year old gun compared to today.

They are heirloom quality for sure. Seems everyone is after power and shot count nowadays.
Iā€™m surprised you donā€™t see more for sale in the classifieds. When I was at that Airgun show there was dozens. You could find a really nice older UK pcp for $400-500 bucks to. Iā€™m kicking myself for not grabbing one.

There was I think 3 Prairies at recent show. The thumb hole version was my favorite. Nice and comfy compact guns.Is the Axsor a rebranded FX2000?

Thanks, I didnt know that.Iā€™m going to have to research more of the classics.Seems like those guns like the fx2000, etc can still hold there own. Even against modern stuff out to 75-100 yards.
That axsor was hitting hanging golf balls at my local range today at 70 odd yds . Good lothar barrel on them . Ok no reg but learn the sweet spot on the rifle and its tip top . I only fill it to 160 . Stock is really nice to use to . The forend reminds me of my Winchester trap gun I use for clays , nice fat round grip šŸ‘

Sounds like Iā€™ll be adding one to the ā€œWant Listā€. They arenā€™t real heavy either right?
