Old Troglodyte

I acknowledge that bringing the new technology and appearance to the Airgun Nation site must have been a very difficult, time consuming and potentially expensive endeavor.

I do appreciate the ability to "view the forum in a traditional notebook style format." This perhaps allows AGN to continue to be somewhat useful to me.

I am saddened that the reputation, post counts and accuracy levels which members such as myself worked so hard to achieve are gone (at least currently?) And it doesn't appear to me that the new system, where one merely presses a 'Like' button instead of specifying why an accuracy point was being given is as useful or meaningful.

Admittedly I am viewing this only from the perspective of a user. I have no clue as to whether the older format and 'technology' was getting to the point where it was impossible to manage from the perspective of a site administrator.

Maybe I'm just too much of an old guy - heck I only access AGN on a computer and not a phone. But I'm also one who shoots Cowboy Action, and maybe I'm more used to old technology - like guns from the period of the late 1800's!

Give it time. Remember, the old site was new to you at one time and you figured out how to navigate it. I highly doubt this forum can afford for its members to lose their accuracy points. Even though certain people pandered for theirs, they are still detrimental for who you hopefully trust. Give it time and just cruise around and familiarize yourself with things. There’s some stuff I don’t like but I actually don’t like something about everything.

Agreed….like your screen name. Huge MOTO fan myself. Watched all the soupies this winter and Detroit in person. Cool to see another MOTO guy into airguns as well

Am I missing it? Member feedback…It was pretty useful when selling and buying items

Yes, you are missing it.
1) Click a user's avatar.
2) In the window that pops up click the user's name.

You will get something which looks like this... and don't forget to put your dollar in the whine cup.

By the way I really like that avatar. Well done on that.

Being able to click the post that the accuracy was assigned from was a great tool in my opinion. Having the ability to go to the source of the information that motivated a member to acknowledge the contribution of another was invaluable to me. Sometimes I used to go thorough member’s profiles just to read posts via the links affixed to accuracy points. I feel like learned quite a bit that way.

I agree 100%. What is being offered above is NOT the same as the accuracy system!
