Tom, I completely agree. And OldSpook simply saying it’s so doesn’t make it so! Right now this is the single biggest issue I still have with the redesign. A lot of people were diligent about the reputation and building it up under the old system. To have it basically disappear with the redesign is not good, and telling people to stop whining is not only insulting, it implies that someone is not listening to people who, through their participation, actually make this site.
We;ll you see if someone were to do that they would be missing the place in the forum you can find if you click on an Avatar and then click on the user's name... like you appear to have. That's where you go to find out what other folks have posted on someone's profile. I suppose for good or bad. The one thing many will miss is the fact that it appears it is no longer anonymous. That might be a problem for some. On the other hand, if someone posted something that was derogatory on another person's profile it would be hard to ignore their willingness to do that under their own avatar. IOW, if they said he was a scammer you would know EXACTLY who to ask why they said that, wouldn't you?
Couple points. First I don't speak for the site, site management, or anyone but myself. Suggesting that I might be trying to do that IS offensive and clearly dishonest. So maybe don't even suggest I might be implying that. You won't like me when I call you on it.

Here is the deal, because you implied I was somehow speaking for management or some third party you are a liar and you are wrong. I am not and never have spoken for management or anyone else and it takes a dishonest, weak person to try that ploy in the middle of a simple discussion about whining.Well, this went downhill fast!
Why is it that people on the internet feel the need to make puerile threats like “You won’t like me when I call you on it”. And they are doing it to someone they don’t even know. Sigh… I hate to break it to you, but I am not in the least bothered by you calling me on it. You won’t be the first, or I dare say, the last.
I will continue to speak up about the issues I see with the site. Obviously I am on it, and want it to be as good as it can be. I appreciate the good parts of the change, but also don’t want to throw out the good things from the former system. You can think what you want, I will articulate what I think needs to be recovered.

Meanwhile spend less time whining and behaving like a three year old and more time trying to learn how the site works and you will look a whole lot more mature and intelligent at the same time.
You have a real fine day. Don't ever suggest again that I speak for anyone other than myself. It makes you look like an ass and it just might piss off the third party. Nobody wants or needs that.
Good for you, you are figuring out how things work. stick with it, who knows what you might achieve?
