Older Airforce Tanks with no Gauge

I picked up an older Talon SS that had some issues. Mainly the oring in the tank valve was so old and dried out it was in pieces. But filling the bottle after I fixed the valve was a pain. No gauge on the bottle or the adapter. Since I have a lot of manometers and various parts I built a nice gauge for the fill adapter.

I have a spare 0.5l CF Tank and ordered a high flow valve and the Huben Power Cricket MAX-ATH universal. See if there is an FPS difference when the parts get here.

Also ordered a Cricket Z-valve and a fat 1.1L CF bottle, because why not. I always believe in "if a whole bunch is good, too much must be just right". IIRC Carol Shelby quote about the horsepower in the Cobra when going from 289 to 427.

You could upgrade to the new spin lock valve, by calling AF . The newer valves will let you enjoy better the gun because they are more easily tune .. they will sell you the parts need to install the new valve + they sell you the valve only to ..

I bought the adapter from Trajectron. Then I watched the video. Not drilling holes in the gun.

I have some experiments coming.
Huben Power Z regulator, Trajectron angled adapter and a 1.1L Fat Acecare CF Tank.

High flow valve, Huben Power Ath-MAX universal and 0.5l CF tank.

Then I can run 4500psi in the tank.

Heavy spring, 70 and 90 gram hammers from Trajectron. The hammers are on sale for $18.

I will probably mix and match the parts to see what works best.

May end up having a custom but plate for the 1.1L made too.
