Just got a tank filled it to 4500, tried to fill my marauder and evanix but the tank won't fill my guns past 2500 psi. I used a deadhead on the tank and it only pressurizes to 2500 psi also. I know the pressure gauge on my compressor is good cause it shows my guns pressure accurately. Isnt the tank supposed to fill to my desired pressure?

You should be able to get a couple of fills above 3,000 psi before having to settle for partial fills.

Is it a regulated tank? My small AV tank is regulated to 2900 psi. But maybe yours was set too low. You may need to send it back.

I just went to their site and it doesnt say anywhere in writing that it is regulated. If you just got it you should call them. They are pretty good and may be able to help you over the phone.

I took of the set screw restrictor that was in the hose and it still won't pass 2500 psi. I was hoping to sight in my big bores this weekend without having to lug my compressor and generator for just a couple of shots.

I can get at least 2 full fills on my Impact from 150 to 250 bar with my omega 18 filled to 4500psi

Contacted AOA, they said if the dead head shows 2500 on the tank then my compressor isnt filling to 4500 psi. I told him it fills all my guns to the correct psi though. He said the gauge must be wrong . Si i disconnected the harness on my compressors gauge so it doesn't stop at 4500 just to see if i can get more air into my omega, well my burst disc gave out. So this tells me my fricken compressor was correct and the omegas gauge is wrong. Am i right?

You tried to test pressure with the dead head, but did you try to fill your gun with the tank?

Ok. So you hook up the compressor (to the fill hose) and fill the tank. I'm guess both the tank gauge (fill assembly) and compressor gauge both climb in pressure together?
Then does the tank gauge just stop at 2500 and the compressor gauge keep going to 4500?

Thats the one i got, AOA said it nit a regulated tank. They both climb exactly to 4500 psi then the compressor shuts off.

So then you shut off tank and compressor, and then bleed valve? Then connect the dead head and open valve and gauge only goes to 2500psi? If so that sounds super strange and I would return tank for exchange.

Yup, thats the problem im facing, AOA though seems to think its my compressor. I firmly believe its the tank. Blew my burst disc trying to prove them wrong
