I would have thought #2. I think the number 0 to 2 go from thinner to thicker. Thinner would make distribution inside the pump easier.

I think you’re right. But the grease cup sits on the cylinder, so thicker is probably good as the unit heats up the grease seems to flow in pretty good.

One has to ask where does the grease go to? Inside your filter, gun, or tank! I good reason to use some type of filter even if you don't have water problems.

Good point and thank you for the chart. So far I haven’t seen grease on my filters. Very little moisture either. But I vent every 8-10 min to blow out moisture too. So far the molecular sieve seems to stay dry. But ive read that the Omegas might need to be took down about 5 or 6 yrs to remove old caked on grease.
