Omega air compressor help !

Hi all . I have a Omega air compressor that I have not used in 6-8 months . When I used it now it worked fine until the h2o bleed valve opened . Now it will not close . How can I fix this ? Thanks

So you were able to open the bleed valve and purge the pressure and now it won’t close, correct? Will it engage and turn or just won’t tighten to hold pressure?

Will not close.at all, or will not close tightly and seal?

Isn't the Omega an automatic valve?

Not if it’s the air charger.

I have done this repair.

I have done the repair too many times. First sides have to come off. The problem is in the automatic solenoid that bleeds the water. It is the square aluminum block that has the electric block bolted to it. It must be removed to be worked on, the solenoid removed as well. There is plunger and spring inside.. The plunger is not seating properly due to spring tension not being strong enough. I removed spring , cleaned plunger, and then stretched spring to add move pressure. This works till the next time it does not seat . Seems like the more you use it, the better it is. Hope this helped.

Hay there ! Is the spring valve under the brass fitting or do you have to take the aluminum block apart ? Thanks
