Omega Cleanair inline filter

Just received my new Omega filter for my air compressor. My concern is the grease that appears to be in filter chamber. Should this be removed?

I don't have the Cleanair inline filter on my Super Charger … I use the older Diablo Dry Air System. The inside of the Diablo needs to be kept clean because the dessicant is poured loose into the chamber. If I was using what you are using I would clean it out but, it only takes a minute to call up AoA and make sure. If I remember correctly your system gets pushed into the chamber as a separate unit rather than being poured in loose … but …. yeah, I'd give them a call instead of taking the word of someone you don't know on the internet. Just my 2 cents.

it's probably for ease of pushing the cartridges in and out if you clean it off it might make you cartridges harder to change
