Thanks Tom, you pretty much covered all the bases ... except for that bald spot on the top of your head. NOW I KNOW why you always wore a hat ... so we wouldn't have to wear sun glasses to protect us from all the light reflecting off the super dome. Nah ... just pullin' ur leg, but you really did a good job on the video, just hope it doesn't get taken down by YouTubes content monitors who all reside at the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Who did you buy it from, I'm guessing AoA. I got my Super Charger from them and it came to me defective, eventually had to send it back into AoA, but since then it has not given me a second of trouble. Todd (the guy who works on these contrapions at AoA) is the easiest person in the world to get along with and really goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with the product. He says that if the Super Charger doesn't do well in the American market place, then he wont have a job so it behooves him to make sure everyone is happy. When I sent mine back to be worked on, he took the whole thing apart found that the piston had a chip in it at the bottom which would not allow it to build up pressure .... but like I said, since then it's been all good.
I do have a Diablo Dry Air System on mine because I live in North Carolina where we have extremely humid conditions about 6 months out of the year ... and like you, I want nothing but dry air inside my equipment ... water and O-rings make for a bad situation all the way around.
I've got about 80 hours on my Super Charger and havn't had to add any grease to the machine yet ... I do turn the green knob one click every 6 hours of run time, but haven't had to add anything to the reservoir yet. If you should forget to turn the knob every six hours, it has a red light which comes on to tell you that you missed your maintenance and to turn the knob or to check the reservoir.
Stay chilly ... keep on keepin' on ... don't get discouraged ... and feed those skinny cats.
