Omega super charger external air filter

Hi guys
I just like to know if you guys have an external air filter on your filling line? I've seen a few videos with the Diablo air filter. I just like to know if this is necessary? Do you guys who own an Omega charger have and external air filter?

I guess that would depend where you live and the humidity factor in your area. i have an Omega with the Diablo filter on mine, don't know if its working but i've had no issue. I do notice when it vents moisture coming out of the vent area, but its the nature of compressed air i guess. I would assume with is better than without.

I have a different compressor, but I highly recommend a quality moisture filter on all compressors and pumps!! I have worked on a number of guns filled with non filtered compressors and foot pumps and many of those guns had moisture in them!!

I've been filling my small tank and rifles off my Omega for almost a year and there has been no indication to use a filter dryer at all. My compressor hardly runs for than 10 minutes at a time and on any extended fillings just use the automatic bleed off or do it manually but once again I think this depends on your area of humidity.

I am of the opinion that a post compressor dryer is essential. I have seen moisture damage inside two of my guns. I am also of the opinion that the diablo dryer is a worthless waste of money at best, and a dangerous accident waiting to happen at worst.

Buy Joe B's dryer or there is a guy on the talon air gun site that sells a proper dryer for about the same money as the worthless diablo.
