Anyone that has one please respond. Please tell me what happens when you press the start button to start your compressor, weather you have your tank hooked up or not.

1- does it start right away without hesitation 

2- buzzing noice like it struggles to start then does

I need to know if I have an issue. When I watch the videos online -they seem to start instantly without hesitation or struggling to start. Mine does not.

Mine is 2-3 months old. When I hit the start button there is a 1-2 second delay before the coolant pump starts, verify flow, motor starts without hesitation. Slow motor start may indicate insufficient or low amperage in the supply circuit. I'm on a dedicated 20 amp breaker, 15 amp multi use circuit may not be delivering enough juice. Tom
editt: buzzing noise. Definitely low amps. Continued use will damage start capacitor. Find higher amperage circuit; 120v washer, newer homes have 20 amp circuits for microwave and kitchen outlets.

Like tricker, I have a dedicated 20 amp circuit. I let the pump warm up for a minute,too. Starts right up and works fine.

Just tell whoever answers the phone that you need to talk to Todd who does all the work on the Omega Super Chargers. He can tell you whatever you may need to know about it. He's a heck of a nice guy, he stutters a bit, but so do I.

My turbo starts immediately when I push the green button. I turn on the power and make sure the pump and fan are running then start it. It does a quick purge and starts to fill tank. I do hook up my air tank and open it up to flow back to the compressor. No issues.

AoA was great. They replaced it. New one fires right up. Thanks for the help

Are you using a 20 amp circuit?

yes i was. dedicated 20 amp, nothing else on it.

Have you called AOA and talked to there Omega repairman ?
