Omg I finally screwed my self

Pls help. I have extra parts. So I was tuning my stock reg on my pp700sa I screwed my reg screw all the way in towards the gauge. An I was getting 350 fps but very consistent and many shots. So I thought if I go opposite way towards the trigger that it would increase velocity.

Omg I’m screwed so the reg screw is not flush but out 1.5 threads out. I filled the tank. And when I shot nothing. The valve does not fill with air. No I’m screwed as I cannot empty the tank. How in the world can I remove the air from tank it’s at full psi too? I tried screwing in the reg screw through the hole by trigger but no luck.

Can I drill a tiny hole in tank slowly? Omg not sure what to do.

What happened that caused the valve not to fill with air and when hammer dropped the gun did not fire. I’m sure the reg screw was too far out is what caused my issue.

It’s said that when you screw the reg screw all the way down it bypasses the reg. So why when I screwed the screw to almost all the way down that the velocity decreased???

I originally had the screw flush with the reg body.

To get increased reg pressure do I screw in or out?

Too much pressure that the hammer couldn't open the valve would be my guess

Reading this thread title I had nostalgia from when I drove a 1" screw straight through my finger while at work, I looked at my finger, then at my co-worker, then promptly re-attached the drill to the screw and reversed it out. So lucky I didn't hit a nerve or ligament. I thought your post was going in that direction...glad it wasn't and glad you didn't drill your tube! Whew.

I hope you were kidding or trying to make a funny when you mentioned drilling into a tank with high pressure air. I don’t mean to sound like an @$$. Those who know me know being a preek isn’t my style, but if you indeed were serious I suggest you find another hobby as sooner or later, with that kind of thinking as a hope of fixing, you’re gonna kill yourself and/or others. Dealing with high pressure air doesn’t require a lot of common sense but again it sort of does.

I hope you also know not to use any petroleum type lubricants in the high pressure system such as 3 in 1 oil or WD40.
My God….
