One hole group challenge - smallest group size

Hello @LCURRENT80

Looks like about a $1,000.00 worth of lead on the ground :ROFLMAO:

Lol.. heres my spent pellet catch im using in the barn shop . Beats sweeping and can be used on the outdoor racks shooting the steel.

Epa may consider that pile a superfund site..lol. (Sorry pictures stink). P.s them pellets look good enough to reshoot 😜

Hello @rsfrid

Holly cow Ross, I would call that 5 perfect shots. The paper material will not allow a much better hole shape. You would have to shoot wadcutters into a soft plastic to get a cleaner hole. I see that you didn't throw that target away :giggle: 😁 :p:ROFLMAO: .

I'm tryin not close yet !!!!!!!!!

I finally got the sharply cut holes that I have been wanting. I used target paper with a tight cardboard backer. This target was shot at 18 yards. Anshutz 8002. I just love these pellets ! I can’t get the grin off of my face.

5.07 is close to single pellet diameter, so I think that is one hole for sure. Nice shooting.

Some really world class shooters here :) I tried in my garage 20' with a 2300S with a red dot. Sitting on a 5 gallon bucket, resting on my 55 gallon brute garbage can with some towels to help with resting. I shot 5 shot groups 10X and the best I could do was 12mm :cautious: . So I'm impressed with the shooting I see here (y). Thanks for inspiring me to keep trying:).

The idea is for you to improve shooting against yourself. And also to have fun.

Hello @rsfrid

Man you are getting too good, all of those are well shot. Come Spring time, you will be ready to shoot a rifle again. It was 50 here right at noon today but that front is supposed to drop our temp down to 11 tonight ☃️

Stay warm and keep on shooting

Shooting today. Glad for indoor shooting challenges cause it's brutal outside and tons of snow next couple days.

That's some incredible shooting!!!! I've tried playing this game and I haven't made any shots worth posting (if I knew how) here :). I went to the range yesterday and shot the 2289 at 25 yards and had a 2.5" group with 25 shots that made me smile:). Sooo when I see these 5mm groups I'm amazed😲

I been fishing for another pistol. Just cant put my finger on "the one". Its funny a cheap pcp if you invest in a cheap compressor is almost the pricing of a hw44 that you just buy the gun cock, load , shoot repeat.. all day long . Only overhead is pellets . Pcp it's that overhead cost and without that you aint shooting .. i yet to figure out the fun in that.. all the pcp figuring just dont add up then the compressor dies .lol $$

With the HW44 you just get a cheap Amazon hand pump and a handful of pellets. I'm using some Chinese pellets from Amazon. Forget the scuba tank and compressor, just get a hand pump. 20 strokes and it's full if I just shoot one mag.

I ment single stroke 45 /74 not 44 as i misspoke above .. sorry.

Its ashame im in the usa with lityle selection . Overseas gots lots a stuff.

Every pistol i like to try not available here . God bless America . You know what i guess use to be the cornerstone of capitalism land of plenty to near 3ed world today . ( And not just air guns , pretty much anything now).

Kinda shows me why so many buy from krale or elsewhere. Aor venturi ant allowing any thing in . You onow like old flying dragon use to have stuff now its 2 or 3 items in his blog . .. if it's even gets updated.lol. same ol same ol copy and pasted items no matter where you go here . We got it so good .

Sorry for the rant but is sadder then ever . I guess it order krale or muldaire just to have somthing decent.

Hello everyone

Here is my latest attempt at the One Hole Challenge, this time using my new Snowpeak PP800R .177. I ran out of the Wadcutter pellets and used JSB Diabolo 8.44gr and they leave a ragged hole so it was hard to make a measurement on some shots. Some "off" tears I did not include in the measurements because it was not the pellet hole. Actually I am pleased with all 9 targets but I really like that bottom right 4.72mm set  . For you folks that have not tried this, it is hard :( to group 5 shots into one tiny hole, BUT it sure is fun :p
