Beeman One sick little puppy

So I've been tinkering on this for a bit. I sorted the bugs out of the 2028 pistol and had a parts 1358 underlever sitting here. I worked some magic, and got the trigger groups to fit, cut down the scope mount/trigger housing as short as I could get it, and made a stock out of some 1/4" paneling stacked up and Fiberglass resin coated.

Obviously not finished, but it's gotta be the shortest bullpup out there. 21.5" OAL and it is semi shrouded with a baffle. Makes a slight knock sound when fired. 20 shots at 18 fpe, or 30 shots at 13.5 fpe. Dead on balls at 35 yards courtesy of the Kral np01 barrel I installed since the beeman barrel couldn't hit a 4 foot target at 20 yards.

Waiting on a set of 3 picatinny rails to go on the sides of the riser, and the top for the scope. Also have a BSA sweet 22 2-7x32 coming for it. The truglo 4x20 is junk lol.

Definitely going to make a good truck gun!

Eventually I will get a wood blank and make a nice one piece stock for it. Gives me a reason to buy a router and table jigsaw!
It is one cool looking pup, looks like a cross between a Taipan, FX Impact, and a Cricket to me! I really like how it looks and shoots! Mad skills there 🤗

Finished shaping the stock. I had an old can of Brownell's alumihyde in ODG. Coated the stock thick with that and will be going with a camo design on this so the squirrels and birds can't see it.

If got some flat black and flat gray to use, and might give it some brown. Dunno if I will sponge it, or just spray stripes or use some leaf stencils. It's such a small surface, it will be hard to make it work with the leaves I think.

Doesn't have to be perfect, this will be a truck/van/bring to work gun.

I did mount and try my new BSA sweet 22 scope on it. Very nice glass for the price, will work great for this 40 yards and under gun.

I really like the fact that you're thinking outside the box here. The whole point of a stock is to help stabilize the rifle and there are many other ways that can be done other than just a brace running to the shoulder. We see a bit of that with stocks that have rear grips or with hamsters and sliders. It makes me wonder about the efficacy of stocks made with knee or elbow braces for shooting from a sitting position.

The bottom of the forestock on this can be held like a hamster. Then plant the elbow on the knee. Off hand doing that i was hitting within an 1" at 25 with crosmans. It shoots the domes 14.3 better than the 18s or hades, but I've got the power down to 13.5 fpe. It'll do 18 fpe with the 18s.
