This makes the 9th airgun I've removed optics from, red dot or scope, and am shooting with either notch opens on pistols or receiver on rifles. Even though I live in the country, our lake is full so no targets on lake bed and with other families unable to work right now, they are out here enjoying our lake houses. So, most any shooting I can do is in my shop. Open type sights just work better in the shorter distance.
The AR type stock I had on P-rod came off as the comb was too high for the receiver sight. Crosman stock works best now. Front sight is just in place temporarily with rubber cement so it can be easily removed. Contacted Rocker1 about a short extension to mount the front sight in a permanent manner and can be removed when I go back to a scope. Just need to verify his payment address to order the extension. Waiting on his response.
