Opinions about the Snow peak M40

I looked at this model long and hard, researching everything I could find, but despite my best efforts, came away with a picture that was overall not a pretty one.
Most of the big negatives centered around reliability (and lack of spare parts). I believe there’s a review on it (different language) where the gun actually fails (cycling) during the test. In a later interview, about a different airgun, Aaron seems to walk back any praise he exhibited on the vid you included. Apparently it’s also pretty weak in power, all things considered
It really is a shame that they couldn’t get it together before releasing this model. The thing looks bitchin’ for sure, and Snowpeak is quite capable of making a very good (reliable & poweful) airgun. I’m hoping the shortcoming of this platform will be addressed by the manufacturer, but it seems they have released several other models since then, which isn’t exactly encouraging news.
In any event, good luck on you search. If you do end up buying the M40, please post your thoughts on it when you get the chance.
