opinions on scope

If this 1-8 scope is anything like the Discovery HD 2-12X24 then it's probably a decent scope. I like the 2-12x24 lpvo version for it's additional power level, and smaller package. I bought several scopes directly from the factory with good results .

I still haven't mounted mine. I have done some adjusting to the diopter but without it being mounted I haven't made any serious attempts at getting it dialed in. Still, I suspect getting both an in-focus reticle & a flat image at 1x will be difficult. To be fair, I have some vision issues that always make this difficult.
I like the size of the reticle at 1x but find the horseshoe a bit small at the ~3x where this scope will stay most of the time on a pest rifle.
I really like the FOV. Much larger than the Discovery 2-12x24 which is also discussed in the above thread.
New Discovery LPVO with side focus
