I don't know much on it but I will add its a booster not a compressor, difference being that similar to the shoebox it needs to be fed air by another source but in this case that air has to be 900-4500psi so you still have to have a hpa source to run it.
Yeah read something about feeding 10bar of air to it but I'm not sure of the psi conversion. I think 200 bar is 3000 psi and 10 bar would be around shop compressor pressure's ?I wish I could link more info but having issues getting links to copy/paste.
Ok read a little more. Input min 70 psi Input max 145 psi Output 4500 psi Has a water separator also Looks to be a better shoebox maybe Just add a small oiless shop compressor and possibly gtg? Lol someone please that knows boosters/Hpa compressors let us know what you think . Thanks
I've emailed altraos about their compressor and was told you supply 70 to 140psi from one air source and it will do the rest .I also asked if I needed additional moisture/water separator and they said no. This booster/compressor has got me excited and very interested in buying one in the next couple of months.i already have a oiless compressor soo all I gotta do now is purchase the altraos compressor and gtg.the compressor looks to be 555 euros which I think is about 625$ USD plus shipping.the compressor looks to have a 2 year warranty, runs cool, long times between rebuilds and easy plus cheap to rebuild. I watched some videos on it and it seemed to auto cut off and auto top off as the bottle cooled to get a true full fill. I just might take the plunge on this one soon enough.
gtg is short for( good to go). Hey no matter the question always feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer and if I cannot I'm sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction for the answer. Thanks
DUHHHH............... Thanks Dodger! Now I feel relieved. I thought maybe it was some essential add on that cost big $$$, lol. From what I read it seems to be very similar to the Shoebox at a better price but the shipping from Europe (Czech Republic I think) and getting service from there might be a deal killer. ??? I'm looking forward to YOU getting one first.(wink)
I also emailed the company and $603 shipped to the US! But there waiting 2-3 weeks for the adapters so we can use them here. I'm buying one for sure! Basically I could not only buy this but also a tiger shark tank with full armor and all goodies for less than a shoebox f10 and the alpha filter. Needless to say I'm sold on it!
Here's the email from them.
"Good day Dillon,
we are pleased about your interest in our Altaros compressor booster unit. There was few customers which was thinking that compressor was self contained and just put out the high air pressure without needing anything other than just the regular air pressure to input. So for sure, this compressor booster need Driving ( workshop ) compressor , which has to supply at least 72 PSI , max 150 PSI. Higher pressure and bigger amount of air workshop compressor can supply = faster filling of your airtank. It is possible use cheap workshop compressor which cost 100 USD, but filling time is longer, similar to driving compressor in our filling table: Scheppach HC 24 . Check table for times of performance for different compressors here: Performance
http://altaros-compressor.com/main-page/performance/embed/
We have best experience with priority insured parcel which is send by air. It is also cheapest option, shipping cost is 89 USD. Price for Altaros compressor booster unit is 514 USD .
So total price is 603 USD including shipping.
I Just want to ask about power adapter which you need:
How to order
http://altaros-compressor.com/main-page/how-to-order/embed/ i supose that you need Typ A. If yes, then unfortunately we sold already all adapters which we have here, we did not expect so big demand for this adapter type. Our bad. I ordered few reduction on our adapters which should be here tomorrow. Normaly we use " Replacement 5.5mm 2.1mm DC 12V 1A Power Adapter Supply (100~240V / 2-Flat-Pin Plug) " .
New adapters for America/Canada market are on way, but they will be here mostlikely in 2-3 weeks.
Thanks for posting all that info on ordering. I'm looking to order in late October or early November. I really hope this booster/compressor is the air solution to us airgunners.the sport/hobby is expensive enough before worrying about how to fill the guns.
No problem! I also will probably be ordering it in mid October or so. This can be a real game changer for guys like me who has to drive very far for a fill station so I hand pump. This will make it way more enjoyable
Don't believe for a moment you don't need additional air drying on that. Check your pcp internals regularly for moisture. I'm really suspicious of this thing.
I'll be looking forward to end users feedback when they start showing up over here. IF they're what they're cracked up to be it'd be great. I'd be a buyer for sure but not until I see some reviews by buyers. The delivered price sounds good, less than I expected with shipping. Time will tell.
Yeah ,it's got a water separator and a decitiant filter and claims dry air but we will see.im anxious to get my hands on one because I have 4 60 minute airpacks to keep filled as well as 5 4500 psi Paintball tanks.im sure I can put it through its paces right away.
