I'm in the process of sourcing optics/mounts for a FWB 124 without raising eyebrows ($$) from the better half. I found a used Simmons 6-8 x 40 Pro Air on craigslist that fits the bill for the scope. Looking at previous posts on this and other forums for mount recommendations, I've kinda settled on the BKL 263 scope mount for being solid and reasonably priced. The unknown is whether the BLK medium height rings will allow a 40 mm objective diameter on the 124 or if I need the high mount version. Hoping someone has been down a similar path before and can provide some advice. Thanks in advance
