I am considering the Optisan - CP 4-16X40 for my future M3. There seems to be zero reviews online to give me any information on this scope. It is also a new model. I do not want to put a heavy optic on the M3 and 16 power, second focal plane is AOK. I don’t need a lot of the features that are offered commonly in the optics market. I will mostly be plinking and target shooting at 100 yards or less. Thoughts….

The CP series is designed for Springers. I have them on three Weihrauchs and an Air Arms TX200 MKIII.

I have only used it at 35 yards. The scope is awesome. The reticle is not too thick. The eye relief is good. The brightness is good. Absolutely no complaints here. Great all around scope.

I run a CP in Tier One mounts and it is an excellent combination. They were designed for HFT and give great depth of view (you aren’t allowed to touch parallax in competition). Nicely relaxed eyebox, good reticule and very good build quality. Not been able to find fault with mine.

Thanks, Guys. I just ordered the 3-12x32 version from Trenier Airguns. It's about 17oz and 9.5" long. Planning to put it on a Daystate Huntsman.

The CP's are doing well. No issues to report. My only complaint is the reticle is very fine. Sometimes hard to see in low light conditions.
I used BKL 30 mm low mounts. I had planned on using the RWS droop mount but it would not fit on the scope.
Very nice optic for the price. Very clean and bright.
Has stood up to my ham fisted antics and transportation in soft rifle cases all this time.

Thanks for the reply. BKL double strap mounts is what I was thinking to pair with it, wasn't sure there would be enough room.
