Ordered Zulus 3-12

Will do. I'm expecting my experience with the Oracle X by Burris on a crossbow will help me with the learning curve on this one. Frankly, the most challenging thing for me hunting with the air rifle (not resting) is the loopy trajectory of pellets. This should help with that. I also think it will be fun to see recordings of my misses? I have little interest in the night use, but who knows.

Tonight, Halloween, 10/31.24 at 9:15p EDT the DNT website showed the 5-20LRF as in stock, if I have read it correctly

And when you go to checkout there is a 10% BRAWLER 10 discount

Hope this helps
Edward

I was in the same boat. Picked up a one leaf nv400 and just haven’t meshed with the digital optic. They shine (no pun intended) at night but just come up way short for daytime use, in my opinion when compared to a glass scope of the same price range. Even with it set where it is supposed to be in auto mode with brightness and contrast it just doesn’t look well in lower lighted conditions especially where there are shadows like in the woods. Hopefully the zulus will be better.

After reading and watching everything I could find online, I ordered the Zulus 3x12 LRF today.
I hope battery and SS micro comes with it? Ordered from DNT website.
The 3-12 is the best. Just think of the "lesser" 850nm light as a battery holder that has a free light. I have the thermnight LRF worth every penny. It comes with the same lesser light. Only the 5-20 has the 940nm light. Honestly I have a hat and helmet light with an IR setting. Anything else I have my 2 cell Vampire IR.

DNT optics website - DNT world - Blogs has some decent tutorials.

here is the one on setting up the onboard ballistic calculator

Cheapest place to buy- https://www.tacpanda.com/ Price you see is shipped to your door, scope is shipped from DNT. Comes with the "free stuff" advertised on DNT website as well. I'm extremely happy with my ZHD520R.

I've noticed my ballistic compensation is not accurate with all the correct data. Zero at 50, I have to drop my FPS down on my calculations by 40-50fps to hit elevation right at 100. No big deal, still better than punching the numbers and holding mils.
