N/A Origin vs Chief 2 Plus S

Do not own a Beeman, but my first PCP was an Umarex Origin and I have zero complaints about it.
Mine did develop a leak after about 8000 shots. I probably could have fixed it myself but contacted Umarex since it was less than a year old.
They had me send it in and instead of repairing it they sent me a new one. The complete kit with hand pump, spare parts two magazines.

The replacement is now 3 or 4 years old and has not missed a beat.
Solid gun and great customer service.

I bought an Origin about 4 years ago with the pump, it was my first pcp.
I held pressure great until about 3.5 years (out of warranty) and I found out there aren't any seal kits or parts available that I could find.
I emailed Umarex and they wanted me to send it in for replacement until they found out it was out of warranty, so no help.

I'm learning that this is common for Umarex products. No parts or support after the 3 year warranty, at least from Umarex.

I had a basic assortment of o-rings on hand, and though a little too big, I was able to get one to work where the air tube screws on. It's held fine since then.
Shoots pretty good, though not a consistent tack driver. I've dispatched quite a few house sparrows from about 25 yards.
