Out of the box left handed guns

Helping a buddy get into the pcp hobby that’s left handed. I understand fx has the M3 test can be set for left handed cocking but now the aftermarket gets involved to move the mag to the left side, which I want to avoid especially for a starter gun.

What are the guns out there are benchrest worthy, that come either with fixed left hand cocking or can be made to be left hand friendly, with no issues of the mags getting in the way? I’d like to put together a list to present to my friend so he can look at his budget to see what works. After I had told him about my RMAC trip he showed enthusiasm in attending that event for next year.

Thanks, all

The Lefty Raw by Martin is very solid and hard to beat.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the Impact either. I switched my lever to the other side and the mag doesn't bother me.

The Skout Epoch is fully ambi and the mag is no bother AT ALL!

After the recent 1&2 finish at RMAC you may want to wait and see what the Red Panda will offer in configurations.
The high capacity mags hav always been the bigger issue for me.

I can live with the cocking handle on the right side. Not ideal…but I actually prefer it on the right when bench shooting.
For a stalking/hunting gun, left hand charging is the way to go.

But those high capacity mags are really badly placed on some of the platforms like the wildcat.
Only way I could get that to work was me was getting the scope way back, so the mag stuck out in front of my face.

On the impact it’s no so bad…but, not ideal.
Because ur always putting pressure on the mag when shooting. Causes some cycling issues, also it’s not a good cheek weld.

Now I’m sure some ppl have cycled 1000’s of round left handed….I still think it’s ideal if the mag can be swapped opposite the face.

Other option would be single shot loading. Pretty ok for bench or paper shooing

I realize that a handful of left hand shooter are okay with a huge fat mag in their face, but I don't feel a FX Impact or Wildcat works well for a left handed shooter without spending additional funds to make the mag more left handed. Options exist for conversion, but not worth the spend IMO. Plenty of other option out there.

I'm glad it works for you but I don't want an impact bad enough to consider it. I know there are smaller capacity magazines but in my face is still in my face. I cannot shoot an impact at all with the stock magazine. I have to push it so hard into my face it is just uncomfortable. We are all built a little differently so I don't doubt it can work for some.

You have to be a little lucky to get one accurate enough for good target work, I think, but my P35s are great for us lefties. Magazine is flush. Right handed cocking lever is good IMHO but it reportedly can be changed to the left if you want. My worst P35 is still great for hunting. My other two are fun on targets.

For hunting, the Daystate Revere can be had in lefty configuration. I was going to say RedWolf, but it has already been mentioned. The Daystate Wolverine can also be switched to left. I believe you can have AOA set it up before shipping. They did my Revere. And as someone mentioned the Marauder bolt can be switched to left. It only takes about 20 minutes.

Lots of lefty’s out here.
