Outdoor places to shoot air guns in or close to San Diego

For outdoor shooting..probably BLM land would be easiest.
Outdoor range that's public would be South bay rod and gun club or Pala shooting range for outdoors
i like the P2K indoor range near the cottonwood golf course in el cajon

I live in Oceanside and I would like to be able to shoot somewhere anywhere outside where it is legal. Private or public property is fine, I just want to be legal and since I have no property and I don't like indoor firearm ranges, I am at a total loss to find anything around here. Is there is 100 yard range that is airguns only as I don't like being forced indoors with huge caliber rifles shooting right next to me. I read this thread and couldn't make heads or tails out of the discussion and the abbreviations.

It will take me a little time to digest this information, thanks for pointing me in a direction to start looking.

I had contacted BLM and was referred to the Palm Springs branch.
They responded with this:

" Thank you for contacting our office. Hunting is allowed on Bureau of Land Management land. However, you must have a permit from Fish and Wildlife. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you for reaching out to the Bureau of Land Management Palm Springs South Coast Field Office and have a great day."

So, another entity must be involved in order to hunt BLM lands regarding permitting. I have yet to contact Fish & Wildlife for a more distinct answer.
