Outlets for selling airguns

I'd like to know what outlets (websites or otherwise) there are for selling airguns. So far I'm aware of the following:
  • Gateway to Airguns
  • Airgun Nation (of course)
  • eBay - max .25 caliber and they take at least a 13.5% cut of final sale
  • Gunbroker - not sure of restrictions or the cut they take

I tried Craigslist but quickly found out they don't allow airguns at all
>:(

What are some other outlets?

I know I'm a little late to this thread but since my company was named ( Premier Airguns) I'll chip in my 2 cents. Used airgun world can be pretty messy because you never know what you are getting sin used guns dont typically come with a warranty. There are however quite a few factory refurbished airguns out there that any reputable seller will back up with a 30 day warranty. The rifles are generally in Very Good to Like New condition and pricing is pretty sharp on them. Usually there is enough room in price to throw in a case, ammo fill adapter and of course the rifle itself and still come up less expensive than new by a bunch.

As for Gunbroker.......there do have amazing deals there but understand that 95% of the listings on airguns on that site do not exist and are being populated by an API from a pricelist. If you are buying from GB it's actually prudent to send the buyer a note to actually ask if it's in his possession.

Hope this helps. Currently I have a small pile of Umarex SL30's if anyone is interested.

Best bet really is here. It’s been pretty decent to me. The biggest problem I see here are unrealistic expectations of worth. Example, recently a gun listed for around 1300 that can be had brand new for 1500-1550. I mean why waste your time and web space ??
@Trucker3573, Now you know, them Tiapans are very accurate. Lol 😁

If you think the 13.5% cut from eBay is bad, try selling a used gun to one of the airgun retailers who are willing to buy them. 13.5% won’t seem so bad. I remember a guy posting about trying to sell a fairly new aIrgun to Utah and they offered him less than 30% of what the rifle was worth. Ebay is good for selling rare or vintage airguns. If you’re selling modern airguns stick to AGN.

I've purchased (and sold) guns from all but Ebay. Ebay prices are nuts. Also bought from American Airguns Classified. I've purchased the most from Gunbroker, but only auctions. AAC requires a bit of work to make sure it is not a scam.

Gunbroker auctions you need to not get caught up in a bidding war, just bid your max price and walk away.

I purchased a 1972 Sheridan on Facebook Marketplace, listed under BB guns, but as a seller I wouldn't expect to land any good prospective buyers there.
Some of the airgun sales like AoA, UA, PA, etc. have used guns for sale. I don't how they aquire them unless by trade ins.

I recently checked in with AoA (this is not a troll of them) and if the gun is a top brand/model you might get a 40% offer for it (like an Edgun Leshiy) - others maybe 20% to 30%. There’s a fair amount of risk on their part, mitigated because they can repair and refurbish themselves… and their used prices aren’t a steal.

You’re much better off hanging a shingle up here and hoping for the best.

Truly, I think the best strategy is buying what you know and can fix yourself and stick with it. For me that’s Huben and Edgun and stay away from off-brands and custom builds if you don’t hodl your Airguns for the long term.

I’ve learned my lessons. Hard lessons.

Yup I learned my lesson early on when trying to sell some powder burner rifles to a local gun store. Im not mad at them. They take the risk and have to make a profit.

AS usual you do not list where you are even just a state, other wise i could name a few Air Gun shows i attend in MI ,Oh , Pa
, NY ,NC, IN
Stan in KY .
If someone can wait to sell their guns at one of these shows, I think this is the best option. No shipping headache, no dealing with scammers, you can barter on sight/site, the buyer gets to handle the rifle so there’s less buyers remorse and the experience of going from table to table seeing what everyone has is awesome. You meet some great people there as well.

Spectacular weather, sunny 40F. and a TX200 .22 in the morning. View attachment 548189These are nice guns. Had to adjust a few targets. Some too close to trees.
Also shot a Pro Sport .22. an AAA gun.View attachment 548190Can’t believe how fast 6 inches of ice melted off my driveway. 1 1/2 hour shoot. Great start. Crow
Just a not so subtle way to change the subject, or posting in the wrong thread? ;-)
