Overseas post office deliveries into US. temporarily suspended.

Anyone else having issues with orders to the US? I just ordered something from eBay and got a message that Hong Kong post office suspended orders temporarily. I got a similar message when trying to order a CARM magazine from Croatia.

Looks like US Post Office highlighted issues going out. Lack of transport. Probably the same issue coming in.

I ordered something from the Netherlands. It’s been 15 days now. My buddies shop ordered a hydraulic part from Denmark, had it in 7 days. Probably depends on shipping carriers. I am done ordering from overseas. It’s dumb. Nothing essential about airgun stuff.

I also ordered something from the Netherlands 20 days ago. Tracking says "Sent to country of destination" for last 19 days. I'm guessing it is sitting in a warehouse somewhere in the Netherlands or a stopover along the way here. Overseas shipping is definitely a hassle.

I ordered some parts from HUMA in the Netherlands. It took about 3 weeks to get here yesterday.

That’s what my tracking says. Looks like I will definitely put that project on the back burner. If stuff is sitting somewhere, I hope that somewhere has lots of room.

I ordered some stuff from Huma in the Netherlands also ... but that was before the Coronavirus outbreak … still took about 4 weeks to get here.

Ordered these 3/23/20 they arrived yesterday. 21 days but they made it. I was kind of giving up hope figuring they were tied up and were going to be stuck for awhile.

A lot of smaller part freight gets loaded onto commercial air liners. Since air travel has all but ceased over both ponds, the only venue available is via water on slow moving ships. That means weeks instead of days for any shipments coming to US from Europe or Asia.

It took approximately 4 weeks for me to get a pair of manometers from Huma as well. That isn't as concerning as countries that are not shipping at all. Hong Kong is one. Croatia (Darko's CARM magazines) is another.

Not overseas, I ordered 4 tins of pellets from Amazon over a month ago and so far nothing. I realize that Amazon is prioritizing orders and I have no issue with that, but holding an order for over a month seems a little excessive. Fortunately I got what I needed from Airgun Depot and at this point I'm just curious to see how long the order takes.

The order wasn't anything odd and it showed as being in stock and last time I checked still showed as being in stock.

A replacement brass part was sent out from Huma Mar.25th and Apr.08th got an email from them saying that the parcel with replacement part got returned.

I ordered some made in China-dependent parts through aliexpress back in mid January and hoping they start shipping soon.

I got some thing from amazon in 4-5 days they usually deliver next morning, I believe they got directed to prioritize.

I need fittings, hoses...BSP and NPT and MM, no way I can get anything here in Canada.

I'm awaiting a shipment from the Netherlands. Although it's not from Krale, I would nevertheless expect delays. From the postNL tracking:

A gentleman sent me a couple of pounds of Coffee from Brazil in trade for a radio enclosure I make on my printers. Enclosure went to Brazil just fine but they kicked the Coffee back due to the current situation. I think that actually happened at that end though. Meh, it will take a while for the kinks to work out.
