Own more than one of a make/model?

I'm really digging the P-mods for some reason. My first one a put an AR stock on and a 2-7 Burris I had. Makes for a handy little critter getter! Second one was gonna be left as a pistol but my son took a liking to it. It new sports the original shoulder stock and a Bug Buster scope. I still don't have my pistol and I have some PA points to burn up, so I'm considering a third.

Is this normal in this hobby?

I won't pass judgement on what's normal. If you like a platform go with it. I enjoy the Huben K1. I tried a Used K1 in .25 to see if I liked them. Yes indeed I did, had Kelly at Krazy Kool mod one to .177. I've contemplating selling the SK 19 in .22 to switch to a K1 in .22. In all honesty I probably just keep the SK 19 and just add the K1 in .22. It's an addiction find the magic potion and want, need more. Enjoy the ride.

Yes, many of us have several of the 22xx guns I have about ten. Does that count? ;^) Although they no longer look the same these all started life as a lowly 2240 or 2250 co2 gun. Only one remains on co2 the rest have graduated to PCP. Quite the addiction they turned out to be. I have near twenty years into werqing on some of them now and still starting new builds, using the same platform, as well.

I've yet to completely dupe a PCP, but I am getting closer all the time. I can certainly see the appeal. I like the ones I have, and can see just grabbing bargain on used one in a different caliber, or to mod.

After getting the Kratos and loving it so much, I grabbed a used Akela. Same mechanics, different stock and tune. But I'd gotten the Kratos after waiting over a year for the Kral Puncher Pro 500 to come back in stock, anywhere. Well, almost two years after getting the Kratos, that Pro 500 was suddenly in stock everywhere last week. Mine arrived today. All three are very similar, and I just love the Turkish walnut on them. Now I'm thinking of modding the Pro 500, make it a "Puncher Pro 700" with the new CF 700cc bottle, and maybe replace the "pingy" aluminum shroud with CF?.. time will tell.

Marauder, 1701P, Impact, Beeman P17, and others. More than one is normal. Just need to balance airguns with things like eating, housing and clothing. You know, the stuff you can't shoot without. Too much on airguns means you don't have a place to sleep (store the airguns), food to eat (too weak to shoot airguns) clothes to wear (don't let you on the range without cloting and safety), and a car to get you to shooting sites. Gotta find that balance. . . . . . .

I just joined this group.

I saw that Utah Airguns put the Caiman and Caiman X (among others) on sale. Didn't think much about it, as I have one of each, both in .22
Then I thought, what about modifying the stock and putting a vinyl wrap on it.

So...I bought a second Caiman, with thoughts on how I want to modify the stock, and I have a couple of pieces of wrap that I can use...so...out came the card.
