Had a great day popping dogs with my son Remington. 1 of many to many to count.
Thanks. I’m blessed to have a great son to help with pics and trimming the population.Great shooting and pic! That is one chunky pdog!
Agreed, out by Dickenson and west you fill find them all over. Would spend days driving around with buddies finding towns. Heck we use to get a nickel for each tail we would bring back to a farmer.Good job !
I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous ! Shooting pdogs with my M3 is one of my favorite things to do. But here in North Dakota I will have to wait till the end of April or early May before we have nice enough weather for pdogg'n !
We are shooting impact mk2s@Leadpills how about some details?
That photo is good but what gun, the caliber and distance?
I’m just starting to hunt them in Nebraska with my air guns. Avenger Bullpup in 25 and a TexanSS in 308.
Many if not most are 75-100+ yds away and that’s stretching it out there.
I strive for "one shot one kill", and don’t want them to suffer.
I’m able to (most of the time) with my PB’s make the one shot kill.
Thanks
It’s Oklahoma!! It will be 30 degrees today 70 tomorrow the trouble is the wind. Not many nice days!!Good job !

Oh and just gotta say we do try our best to be ethical about killing. It is just fact that bad shots happen. Especially At long distances. That being said we are shooting on private land that the landowner was on the verge of poisoning the herd. So we are shooting as many as possible to keep that from happeningWe are shooting impact mk2s
22 cal 700 mm slug liners shooting 34 gr patriots. Pushing 1050fps. Longest kills so far are right on 400 yrds. I’ve been working on 500 but between the out of gas syndrome and the wind here in Oklahoma it’s pretty much pissing in the wind.
I recently acquired a 25 cal impact mk2 I’ve been slowly converting to slug slinger. I’ve got 7 tins of pellets left to send down the tube first.
But works well out to about 100 yrds

I see that you're from ND. Is ND better than western SD for pdog populations? I've been around the Murdo SD region with so-so luck. Seems like you need to know ranchers/farmers. And a lot of them are charging money to get on their land. Public lands are pretty popular and not too productive.Agreed, out by Dickenson and west you fill find them all over.
