Did you try to purchase the spring ?
It acts OK for me, puts spring in cart and wants me to pay, but I cancel out since I do not want one.
I do not know of anywhere else.

i am really surprised at the low post on this
and turning to the UK is what we have to do in the states because they do a far better job of offering parts and the shipping is not high the currency conversion can be
this is the most popular kit in the UK and seeing that the HW45 will not reach the 6 fpe limit in the UK they should be full power or close

Just more info here...a very accomplished UK tuner recently posted this excellent info on tuning the P1 / HW 45:
i have never had one of my 45's opened up but those guides could be made out of hex bolts with heads ground round and i must assume that the felt recoil would be increased by the added weight
the details are slim in my mind and also the thick heads are preloading the spring so is the weight or the spring compression adding all the power
say if you made the top hats small and poured the centers with lead could that work as well
and when is too much weight not good
i for one is not interested in doing a complicated amount of R&D work to find Goldilocks bowl of Porridge
and if this worked as well as it looks like it could why the hell isn't there a kit for this on the market
it is interesting
