I was tuning my rifle yesterday for pellets. I turned spring All the way down.(3 clicks down)Trying to see where it quit working. But all it did was slow speed down 10fps. Is this normal?

Yes. With the balanced valve the hammer spring doesn't have the same effect that is does on other rifles. When adjusting you're supposed to back the wheel off, make the reg adjust then adjust the wheel till it's opening the valve fully. I have found over a chronograph that while not making much difference at all a few clicks one way or the other can help with groups with a promising projectile.

It'll still open it up, just won't get optimal velocities and such. The dealer I ordered mine from was supposed to have tuned it to a specific pellet, came with a target, nice group and printout of velocities. I did confirm all this myself before tinkering with anything. Much to my surprise when I went to make the first adjustment to it. I found the hammer spring adjuster backed all the way off as it was shipped to me.
