RTI P3 regulator

I was shooting today testing new ammo. I had my FX chronograph out and noticed my FPS was all over the place .(pic below) Can’t turn it up. Degased it then tried turning it all the way down and starting over. When filling back up notice the regulator pressure was going all the way with tank. When it was supposed to be stopping at 145. I bought two months ago from TT. Has anyone else had problems with this on p3? I’m currently getting rid of some of my other toys for the money for a Mora for bench. Got me thinking twice about that now. Has anybody had similar problems with the mora? I know some had problems dealing with barrels on them. If there’s any more known problems for the P3 or the Mora, I would love to know thanks for the info guys. At least I bought it that talon tunes so I know I’ll be taken care of.

Time to rebuild the reg. Even with guns that have regs that guys can’t easily play with, a bad oring can cause it to go into bypass mode. Regs that are easy to play with are worse through no fault of their own. Those tiny components are just not happy being adjusted under that insane pressure. But it’s what we demand and the manufacturers now get to make money on the back end of their gun sales. Time to place an order for a rebuild kit.

Will the Mora have reg issues? Yes, if you play with it enough. I have three FX Impacts and a Dreamtac. Two of the Impacts and the Dreamtac once dialed in never had the regs touched for years and they are solid, never an issue. The one Impact I play with and experiment with has reg issues from time to time. My fault, not FX’s.

Worriedman brought up a point that I forgot to add. And it jogged my memory. Your valve caused your initial problem possibly. Degas the gun and lower your reg setting a good bit, then put some air back in the gun. See if the reg gauge stops at a lower bar. If it does then fill and bring the reg back up to your 145.
I degassed it and started over. The reg didn’t stop kept going up. Stopped compressor at 200bar

This is only 2nd time I’ve raised it only had chronograph for a month. Guess I expected more for something I payed so much for. To only get two months use out of. I really love this little gun. Hope it gets sorted quickly.
It’s the PCP life. They have problems. Your gun has two things that are a little more complicated than a basic gun. The valve and the reg. That’s where a problem will pop up. The rest of the gun is bulletproof. My Uragans have only one thing that’s more complicated than a basic PCP, the valve. Yes, that’s where the issue popped up with those built like tanks guns. As we step away from the basic tried and true PCP designed guns on our quest for power or convenience, we invite weaknesses.
