While i was at EBR, i ran into Gregor and Rok, and i asked them about the tuning for the P3
here is what i was told...
establish what the highest velocity you will need for the projectile you are using.
back down the hammer all the way, and slowly adjust up to where the valve opens..then open it up a turn more...this will be the hammer setting for the gun
all of the speed adjustments will be done by the regulator
If Tony did the tuning, all you need to adjust will be the regulator to adjust speed

Ton'y setup with the Altaros moderator is very quiet! Hitting the target makes more noise than the rifle going off

Make sure you close the the cocking lever before you shoot ...don't know how many times i forgot to do that with the P3 ..the left side cocking level kinda throws me off
It is a a very accurate rifle ,,,Have Fun!
Mike
edit: if you happen to shoot one with the bolt open, remember to remove the magazine before you close the bolt or you will double load

If you find that you have a bit of noise back at the breach when you shoot, put some pipe thread wrap on the 3rd (closest to the magazine) set screw. I found that it did quiet my gun down. Don't overtighten that screw as you may destroy the o-ring that's in it. It doesn't hold the barrel so being real tight is not a requirement. BTW, that little o-ring is a 6 x 1 NBR 70 (yes I know because I have ruined a few and now have plenty of spares!).

Changing out the barrels is one of the bonuses of owning an RTI. I have all of the barrels and now swap them out for the intended use. The .177 is my main night rat gun as you can really adjust it for the shooting conditions which for me are being inside a building or outside.

There really well built with a nice trigger. I had one in .30 & shot some very good groups at 100 with it. The factory grips are excellent for me & feel great. Your goona love it man !!! I ran a long extention for bipod on mine. It had some twist to it using it at farthest setting. If moved back just a bit on the ACRA section it would be better.
