Anyone want to save me a bit of pumping and let me know which direction to turn the screws on a mrodair mk2 to increase power. I need to know regulater and transfer port otherwise im just going to turn them and shoot over my chrony.
If I remember correctly, ccw raised the reg pressure. I would like to add that you don’t turn the reg screw. You move it very little at a time. It’s a tiny little thing with a small range. You will bypass it quickly if you aren’t careful. My stock reg didn’t stay in my gun long. When I started getting close to the velocity I was looking for, the reg just couldn’t do it. Huma set at 130b = problem solved.
Hmm I switched calibers to 22 and the fps dropped to 458 with a 14.3 cph. I am hoping to sqeeze 750 fps out of it by adjusting all 3 points. Think the rwg can handle that?
If you can get 700 with a 14.3 I would call it a day. If you want to have a switch caliber gun, you might not want to mess with your .177 transfer port. The high power .22 pistols have a TP that you can drop a .177 pellet into. If you drill yours out to squeak that last couple fps, you are going to have a transfer port bigger than your bore when you switch back to .177. Not good.
I can deal with 700. Ty. I am building it to be my little girls first squirrel gun. I was killing squirrels at her age with a 760 multipump that probably got 525fps with a 177 so 700 seems fine to me. Ty
