FX Panther Hunter questions

Was gifted a 22 panther Hunter compact. pls help with some questions:

if I buy just a 300cc bottle and valve is there anything else I need to connect and add another bottle on the stock? I actually want to get the next size larger then put the front bottle at back. I have never had an FX so I’m not sure if there is anything else needed.

so hard to find parts always back ordered or not even sure if they sell it

the panther slug kit the harder hammer and probe would this allow me to shoot slugs better from my 22 with stock barrel?

i like 22 but are there kits for larger and longer barrels and plenum? I found on Europe airgun they sell the macro xl plenum for the panther not sure if this will work on Hunter compact as it look as it’s missing the shroud.

You can make anything you want out of your compact hunter. The joy and curse of FX guns is that they are almost infinitely variable in the things you can add or change.
My Panthera compact in 30 came with a 300cc bottle up front under the barrel. I would assume you could add one to the butt stock with an adapter. I just took the 300 off and replaced it with a 480 I had laying around.
Also, I would not consider slugs out of the 22 compact. Barrel is too short and velocities will be limited to the point you are better off with pellets.
Take it out and shoot it. Play with it and see if you really want to change it. You may find you like it just fine the way it came to you.
FX guns, specifically the Impact and Dynamic platforms are the ultimate Pandora’s box for air gunners. once you open the lid of “upgrading” the components all manner of evil and demons will be set loose on you unless you are well versed in the dark arts. They are great guns and I love all of mine. BUT, start messing with them without a pretty thorough knowledge of the gun and the way they work and you will quickly become one of the legions of FX haters. There are some haters who are well founded with their opinions and lots who are victims of Fredrick‘s shiny objects peddled to hapless YouTube junkies.

Thanks Chuk I learned all I learned about tuning and reg with my pp700sa with huma reg. I’m not rich like others on this forum but fortunate to have gotten this so I’m gonna learn to love it the way it’s first.

So just to rehash what you said. If I take the front 300cc bottle with its valve then plug it into the back. No other things needed, if we are taking about all stock parts nothing removed or added.
then finally after buying my 480cc bottle and valve plug that into the front. is this correct?
