Panthera 8mm Hammer (non-tungsten)

In a recent video from FX announcing new accessories for the Panthera it is mentioned that a tungsten hammer is not required to send 40gr pills. I was watching this video at the same time as i was literally disassembling my rifle to install one and it stopped me in my tracks.

They mentioned that only an 8mm hammer is required. Does anyone have the part number or any additional info?

Also... where tf are the spare slug mags and compact slug mags?

Not sure on the hammer but would recommend Orion for additional magazine. I purchased one from him and it is spot on. Fits snug but not to tight and zero cycling issues.

No, no problems at all except you can’t find any to purchase currently. I’ve purchased other magazines from Orion previously and just went back to him once I heard he was making them.

I just sent an email to FX USA to ask about the 8-gram hammer for the Panthera. I'll post all of the information once they reply. Has anyone seen a video covering the installation process for the hammer? I've changed many on the Wildcat and Crown, but this is a little different. Ernest, we need a Master Calss!

So Ernest Rowe did a video on installing the 8mm hammer weight; believe its under FX Master Class on Youtube.
I just received my 8mm hanmer weight, today, from FX USA. I couldn’t be more happy with FX customer service. I originally called because I didn’t have the carbon fiber sleeve for the liner; own the 600mm Panthera in .25.
Would definitely give FX a call about the hammer weight and I will get you the part number tomorrow as I am relaxing and the package is locked up for the evening.

You can order the 8mm hammer from FXUSA. Send them a email and you can order thru them. That is what I did with mine.

The part number that FX wrote on the bag containing my 8mm hammer is 17003.

Side note, it's identical to the hammer that comes with the maverick/wildcat slug power kit.

This is true I literally couldn’t find just the “8mm 13.2 grams” hammer weight for my .22 600 panthera that used to be a .25 cal so I ordered the maverick/wildcat slug power kit and got it now time to install…
