FX Panthera Compact Arca

Picked up this leaky Panthera off a local chap a couple weeks ago, he just wanted to get rid to move onto another rifle so he done me a killer deal

On inspection it had 2 leaks, one on the gauge block where it mounts to the action and the firing valve end plug, both leaks were easily fixed after checking out the Sub12 Airgunners guide on YouTube. Just after I bought it a compact Arca kit was for sale on AGF forum, I had planned to get the kit at some point, but was a no brainer with it being newly half price from on here, so once I was happy I had fixed the leaks I fitted the kit and also mounted my awesome Element RC Immersive 5x30 scope

That's a sweet looking little pcp you have there . Looks like a great pester , hunting setup. I'm a compact fan . That rail looks good and the extra forward weight probably helps with off hand shots .

Just me , but if I had one I would probably set it and then pull the gauges and plug the holes .

Zero complaints, lovely smooth cocking action, decent trigger, did 9 mags (198) shots from 250bar to 75bar, seems most accurate with B8’s, more pellet testing to do, the biggest revelation of the session is the scope, watching the pellets in flight out to the targets is not something I’ve really experienced with a conventional scope, I absolutely love it 👍

Yes that 5x30 is such a neat little scope. I love mine.

All the UK Sub12 FX rifles come without the quick tune, we have a poopty law that a Sub12 must not be able to externally adjustable to over 12fpe. Mine was a bit lacking in power it was only making around 11fpe with JSB heavy’s and low 10s with 8.44’s, so I source a quick tune kit and a Sub12 Airgunners locking collar to set the max power at just under our legal limit

Also the Ranger bipod has found a new home on my GK1 carbine, so it have been replaced with a sweet Atlas BT65
