After shooting A LOT with the Panthera and picking again the Sidewinder, now I am ready to give my opinion in the comparison of this two rifles:
- Both rifles are equally accurate. SUPER ACCURATE !!!
- The Sidewinder is more powerful and easier to adjust the power up and down than the Panthera
- The Sidewinder is much more comfortable to shoulder than the Panthera. Far away !!
- In the case of the Panthera I received, the trigger is far away of being good. The one on the Sidewinder is better, and the one of my Wolverines and many others, are much better.
- The configuration in the Panthera having a 580 cc bottle in the front and 300 cc bottle in the rear gives much more shots per fill than those expected from the Sidewinder.
- The Sidewinders feels lighter than this Panthera.
It would be an act of show off ( that is not pretended at all ) to share a comparison of groups of those two rifles at my longest target distance that is, actually, 85 yards. But I can truly testify that both rifles are more accurate than my skills as shooter. That mean that without wind, a pellet on pellet at that distance is perfectly possible with both rifles.
