I have 600 and 700 Panthera in .22 and occasionally the pellet/slug will jam when you attempt to chamber a shorter projectile. I did tune the mag springs by relieving the tension by selecting a lower preload which helped somewhat. I speculated that the deeper Panthera magazine allowed the pellet or shorter slug (24.8 gr NSA) to move backwards if the muzzle was tilted upwards during the reloading cycle and cause a jam if it became misaligned when closing the bolt. I used a 30mm id x 3mm O ring and snipped out a small piece (so not to block the opening) and glued in place to the inside of the magazine lid. This prevents the shorter projectiles from
moving backwards. You are still able to see the pellets through the lid. It seems to cycle well in the brief testing I did today trying to force a jam with the muzzle tilted up. I will continue testing in next few weeks. If you use cyanoacrylate adhesive (instant adhesive) it will cause fogging of the clear plastic so use it sparingly or chose a different adhesive.
