I am fortunate to own a number of great air rifles. Sometimes it is hard to decide which one to pull out when I have a few minutes to shoot.
Finished a hard days work of outside physical chores in the heat today and decided to pull out an airgun on the covered back porch to cool down. The only issue is there was a very strong quartering wind.
I dialed the Sightron SIII about two clicks into the wind, tethered the Panthera to the Great White tank, filled the magazine with ZAN 33.5 Gr .217 slugs and proceeded to hit every spinner/reactive target from 38 to 86 yards - dead centering each one with authority. It seems to totally disregard the wind issues compared to my “conventional” airguns shooting pellets.
Fun stuff and a good way to end the day.
