I recently de-gassed my relatively new Panthera in order to adjust the regulator. The initial condition was de-cocked with the breech closed.
I first removed the bottle, then adjusted the regulator up de-gas the plenum. So far, so good.
I then adjusted the regulator down and reinstalled the bottle. Air then discharged from the barrel. Not good.
It appeared that the valve must be open to allow air to escape this way and maybe the hammer was resting on the valve and was holding it open. Sure enough, I cocked the rifle and the leak stopped.
My question is, is this normal behavior for the Panthera? I've de-gassed my Impact many times over the years and never encountered this issue.
Thanks
