Pard 008

I got my PARD NV008 LRF last week. I also bought the Eagle Vision mount for it based on the reviews, and the fact that it doesn’t require the shimming necessary like the supplied PARD mount does for it to keep the reticle centered on the scope. The supplied mount appears to be very good though. Waiting on my Delta Wolf to get here to mount it though. Gonna be killer on rats.

If you are talking about the Eaglevision mount it is far superior to the stock Pard mount and yes you want it. The stock Pard mount has to have shims installed to make it centered in the reticle. With the Eaglevision mount you can just dial it to center and it makes the unit easily to move from gun to gun as well.

Already been discussed here is a link.

Here's what I use for my Pard NV008P.

Got off Amazon. Has elevation and windage adjustment.

I got the new NV008S LRF last week and decided to give the original mounts a try.
I found that on my FX guns with 20 MOA built in the rail the pard was pretty spot on without shimming.
My DreamTac was shooting 15mm high and my Maverick 5mm low both an 25 meters. So not much to compensate in the software - you dont notive that the reticle isn´t exactly in the middle.

If you dont have some MOAs built into your rail, i would suggest to use the eagle vision mounts.Just because shimming doesn´t feel right to me on a 1000 € unit.

I do not have a Pard NV008 currently, but I did. I also have a ZB lite base and an Eaglevision mount which I kept. Yes, the ZB lite zeroing base is virtually unobtainium any more. The requirement to re-shim when moving from gun to gun (unless you get lucky) and the lack of a dedicated app are the Achilles heels of an otherwise fine product, for its price. A good factory mount, a phone app, and a Shader 8 would make it perfect. Yes, you want a Shader 8. Because I have the ZB lite and Eaglevision mounts, I plan to buy another PARD with the lrf (mine did not have the lrf), as soon as the Shader 8 I have ordered comes back in stock.

So I am trying out a pard 008p @ctsas always is the man letting me test it out. I did get the eagle vision for my testing because the reticle not being in the center bothered me to much. Attached is the reticle before and after was able to get the reticle pretty close to center now. Also take note boys on the included picture from pard above they are showing a 4.5 version which is interesting.
