I just got my NV008SLRF and have some questions. I can't find anywhere how to zero the laser and also for the firmware update does it need to be done on a windows machine what can you do it on a Mac? I can't find current info on this anywhere

You don't zero the laser for the LRF. You simply put the little box on the target to be ranged.

I really think that the laser needs to be aligned but it doesn't show/tell how. They even include a small hex wrench to do that.

Yes I figured that much out but the question is how do you go about aligning it, like which menu item and which button and all of that. I'm really surprised that they don't give you more detail
